J.J. McCarthy powers Vikings’ Monday Night comeback in first NFL start
In his first NFL start, J.J. McCarthy rallied the Vikings from a 17-5 fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Bears 27-20 on Monday Night Football. After missing his entire rookie year with a knee injury, he delivered two TD throws to Justin Jefferson, a go-ahead strike to Aaron Jones, and a rushing score. He’s the fourth QB in 20 years to win a Week 1 MNF debut.
